For gathering data instruments of self-efficacy sheerer et al, Meta-cognitive Schraw & Dennison, and critical thinking dispositions Ricketts questionnaires were used. Data were analyzed by Pearson correlation, multiple regression analysis and T independents through SPSS. Results: The findings showed there is a positive and significant correlation among self-efficacy (r=0.390, p<0.001), meta-cognitive (r=0.468, p<0.01) and critical thinking dispositions (P<0.001) and the findings of multiple regression analysis and stepwise showed that self-efficacy (β=0.468, p<0.001) and meta-cognitive (β=0.160, p<0.05) are significant predictors of critical thinking in students. The independent differnces t-test showed that there was a significant between male and female students in critical thinking dispositions variables, so that tendency to critical thinking dispositions (M=104.74), self-efficacy (M=56.37) and meta- cognition (M=84.21) among female was more than in men considering tendency to critical thinking dispositions (M=92.57), self-efficacy (M=49.23) and meta- cognition(M=77.17) , (p<0.001). Conclusion:regarding The important role of self-efficacy and meta- cognition in predicting students critical thinking dispositions, University programs should be organized in such a way that the educational programs and curriculum revision comes into action And active teaching methods that, involved students in the issue and problem solving should be used instead of storing data and scientific facts.
