The present study aims to examine the effect of Quantum Learning in Academic Achievement and motivation in learning in students. Methods: This is an experimental study. The research population included all the students of Basic Sciences (N=343) in Medical Sciences field in Guilan University of Medical Sciences in 2015. After the screening, second semester students in Biochemistry course by simple randomly selected and they were divided into two experimental groups and control group. In the experimental group was applied Quantum Learning method and the control group were taught under normal (lecture) conditions. The Quantum Learning Model was designed by using suggested models, revision and localization of them and so taught to assistant instructor. The instruments for data collection were the motivation and learning attitude questionnaire by Biggs ، Kamber، Lung and a Biochemistry test. The Independent T test and SPSS were used to analyze the data. Results: Although there is no significant difference in experimental and control group mean score before instruction, but mean score of two groups after instruction show meaningful differences in research variables including: Learning Motivation (4.079± 0.33) and Academic Achievement (7.271.40±) in experimental group and Learning Motivation (3.0356.33± ) and Academic Achievement (3.450.83±) in control group respectively. Conclusions: experimental observation of this research demonstrate that Quantum method Model can increase satisfaction among students and they follow and study lessons rigorously also, applying this research by instructors can create interest and improve motivation in learning and academic achievement LA eng UL http://rme.gums.ac.ir/article-1-297-en.html M3 10.18869/acadpub.rme.8.1.29 ER -
