مقدمه: فاصله دانش نظری با مراقبت­های بالینی یکی از مشکلات اساسی در رشته پرستاری است که در جهت رفع آن راهکار­های زیادی ارائه شده است. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی راهکار­های کاهش شکاف بین دانش نظری با عملکرد بالینی از دیدگاه دانشجویان پرستاری دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تبریز در سال 1393 انجام شد.

روش­ ها: پژوهش حاضر از نوع توصیفی- تحلیلی است که بر روی200 نفر از دانشجویان دوره کارشناسی پرستاری دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تبریز به روش نمونه­ گیری در دسترس صورت گرفت. ابزار جمع­ آوری اطلاعات پرسشنامه محقق ساخته ­ای بود که پس از تأیید روایی و پایایی به بررسی راهکار­های کاهش شکاف بین دانش نظری با عملکرد بالینی از دیدگاه دانشجویان پرستاری در سه بعد مربی، دانشجو و برنامه­ ریزی آموزشی پرداخت. تجزیه و تحلیل داده ­ها با استفاده از آزمون­های t مستقل، آنالیز واریانس یک طرفه انجام گردید.

یافته­ها:  میانگین نمره کل کسب شده برای راهکار­های ارائه شده در جهت کاهش شکاف دانش نظری با عملکرد بالینی 0/36±3/75 بود. نتایج نشان داد که در میان عوامل مربوط به مربی، دانشجو و برنامه­ ریزی آموزشی به ترتیب، استفاده از روش­های نوین آموزشی توسط مربیان پرستاری با میانگین نمره 0/98±4/2 ، داشتن علاقه به رشته پرستاری با میانگین نمره 0/74±3/87 و به کار­گیری مربیان با صلاحیت بالینی و علمی در بالین با میانگین نمره 1/07±4/4 به عنوان مهم­ ترین راه کارها عنوان شدند.

نتیجه­ گیری: با توجه به شکاف بین دانش نظری با عملکرد بالینی، اتخاذ راهکار­های مناسب در سه بعد مربی، دانشجو و  برنامه­ ریزی آموزشی در جهت حذف یا کاهش فاصله بین دانش نظری و عملکرد بالینی در رشته پرستاری ضروری به نظر می رسد.
