Exploring the Process of Professionalism in Clinical Eductin

  Introduction: Clinical experience has always been an integral part of medical education and prepare students to work as well as clinical principles as they do so in practice . Ethics both in remdiation of patients and students' teaching in respect to sciences and skills promoting is necessary. This study try to assess attitude and experiences of teachers' and medical students in the process of professionalism in clinical education. The aim of this study is to explore the process of professionalism in clinical education.

  Methods: This study is a qualitative research and content analysis. Participants in the study were medical students that were chosen purposefully. The clinical professors who are willing and able to transfer rich data about study selected. Semi-structured interview (personal interview) was used data were analyzed based on Strauss and Corbin.

  Results: Finally 6 to 8 main categories and sub- categories were created respectively and4 themes extracted from these factors including: social, political, economic and cultural factors.

  Conclusion: Findings showed that the concept of professionalism from the viewpoints' of participarticipants is associated with their handling of the case in training. Although ethics is very important in clinical practice, however, many factors contribute to the creation of it.
