Methods: In this quasi-experimental study, 60 operating room students of the first semester in Shahroud University of medical sciences in 2012 and 2013, were recruited through simple random sampling and they divided into two groups including control group by using traditional training and intervention group using traditional education plus software, effectiveness of educational software was evaluated through practical test using check list. Data were analyzed using SPSS software and inductive, descriptive statistics and   paired t-test and t-test. Results: Results showed the first practical test (pre-intervention) mean scores in the intervention and control groups showed no significant difference. But in the second practical exam mean scores (post-intervention) were significantly different in the intervention group (P=0/002). Conclusion: This study showed that using educational software not only is effective in students learning but also raise their confidence in the practical exam. 257 Educational Adminstration Comparison of Mental Health and Burn Out in Medical Staff of Rasht Shafa and Heshmat Hospitals Soleimani R i Shokrgozar S j Kianmehr S k Fallahi M l Pakdaman M m i Psychiatry Department, Kavosh Cognitive Behaviour Sciences and Addiction Research Center, Shafa educational – remedial Hospital, Guilan University of Medical Sciences, Rasht, Iran. j Psychiatry Department, Kavosh Cognitive Behaviour Sciences and Addiction Research Center, Shafa educational – remedial Hospital, Guilan University of Medical Sciences, Rasht, Iran. k School of Medicine, Guilan University of Medical Sciences, Rasht, Iran. l Vice- chancellor for health, Guilan University of Medical Sciences, Rasht, Iran. m Kavosh Cognitive Behaviour Sciences and Addiction Research Center, Shafa educational – remedial Hospital, School of Medicine, Guilan University of Medical Sciences, Rasht, Iran. 1 12 2015 7 4 20 30 21 05 2015 06 09 2015 Introduction: .Mental health nurses is effective  on quality of services to patients, and burnout is a common complication in this area. this study was done to investigate and compare of mental  health and  burnout in Shafa and Heshmat ' s Rasht educational – remedial hospitals in Rasht Methods :This descriptive-analytic study performed on  183 nurses of Shafa and Heshmat  hospitals by simple randomly selected. Methods: This is a descriptive, cross-sectional study in which the population consisted of all the students in Birjand University of Medical Sciences (n=1100that 283 students were selected using random, stratum sampling and based on Korjsi and Morgan’s tables. A researcher-made questionnaire about classroom management styles with 30 five-option items and 3 sub-scales (interactional, interventional, and non-interventional) was used to collect data. Its validity was confirmed by experts as 0.82 and its reliability was calculated by Chronbach’s alpha as 0.86. The data were analyzed in SPSS (version 16) using independent t test and one-way ANOVA at the significant level of p<0.05. Findings: According to the results, 179 students (63.3%) were female and 104 (36.7%) were male. The results showed that most professors made use of interactive, interventionist and non-interventionist classroom management styles , respectively. From students’ viewpoint, there was a significant difference between classroom management styles of interventionist (p=0.0001, t=5.48), interactive style (p=0.0001, t=3.27) and the non-intervention style (p=0.0001, t=4.56) in terms of teacher gender. Concerning the field of study, there was a significant difference between the interactive classroom management style (p=0.0004, t=2.89) and non-interventionist style (p=0.048, t=1.99). However, the interventionist style did not vary significantly across fields of study (p=0.176, t=1.44). The purpose of this article is to explain the role of diploma grade point average in the educational process of medical students in Babol University of medical sciences. Methods: This cross-sectional study conducted on the six-year period educational process of medical students in Babol University of medical sciences during 1985-1990. Data were collected using a questionnaire in demographic characteristics, diploma grade point average, twelve medical science course average score, basic medical science course average score, and the comprehensive basic medical science examination score. Data were analyzed by statistical T-Test and SPSS software. Results :From 387 medical students, 229(59.17%) were girls and 262(68.8%) were local. The study revealed that there was significant relationship between diploma grade point average and  twelve medical science course average score (p= 0.001). Nevertheless, the consistency between fluctuation of diploma grade point average with basic medical science course average score, and also with the comprehensive basic medical science examination score, any significant relationship wasn’t observed (p≥ 0.05). The relationship between basic medical science course average score and the comprehensive basic medical science examination score was significant (p≤ 0.05). Discussion: The results indicated that high school status has an important role on medical students education. It is better to consider diploma grade point average as the criteria in entrance examination. 264 Educational psychology The Relationship between Resilience and Attachment Styles with Academic Saadat S Etemadi O Nilforooshan P Faculty of Education and Psychology, University of Isfahan, Isfahan, Iran. The early prevention and training is considered as the most effective tool for reducing the dental and periodontal diseases and improvement of oral health. The main objective of this study  is to determine the effect of standardized student training method on reduction of dental plaque. Methods: In this Quasi-Experimental study, 62 students were randomly divided into two cases and control groups, in which practical training of oral and dental health by a standardized student (31 samples) and face-to-face training were offered. Plaque index, which is indeed is the patients’ performance assessment index, is measured by the examiner and based on the O’Leary plaque index. The plaque index before and after training , were recorded. A team was created for students’ standardization. Then three one-hour sessions held for students’ practical training; and performance of students evaluated by the team members, and feedbacks were provided. In order to analyze related data for dental plaque index, descriptive and analytical statistics were used SPSS software Ver.21.0. Results: The results showed a 25.62% drop in plaque index of patients in case group (trained by standardized student) and a 15.13% drop in control group (trained by face-to-face learning), which are significant for both groups based on the independent sample test and the obtained confidence level (p = 0.000). Conclusion: It can be concluded that training of standardized students, as it simulates an experienced mentor, can play a key role in reduced dental plaque and serve as an efficient technique for teaching the care service materials to patients. 223 Continuing Education General practitioners Assessment of Continuing Education Programs in Golestan University of Medical Sciences Arash A hesari Z Alizadeh S Broomand N Msc student in Educational Management, Department of Medical Education, Golestan University of medical science, Golestan, Iran Student in Clinical Biochemistry, Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Iran University of medical science, Tehran, Iran.
