The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of academic vitality and happiness in predicting Students’ creativity in Lorestan University of Medical Sciences. Methods: The present study was a descriptive-analytic study of correlation type on all midwifery, nursing, health and paramedical students of Lorestan University of Medical Sciences during the academic year of 2017-18. The sample size was 210 people (%57.1 female and %42.9 male) according to Morgan table and they were selected by random cluster sampling. The tools for collecting data included Oxford happiness questionnaire, Abedi's creativity, Hussain-Chari's and Dehghanizadeh academic vitality. Data were analyzed using Pearson Correlation Coefficient, multiple regression and independent t-test through SPSS. Results: The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between academic vitality and happiness with creativity among girls and boys (p<0.01). The results of multiple regression analysis in step-by-step manner showed that among the girls and boys, academic vitality and happiness variables predicted 13.9 % and 18 % of variance of creativity, respectively. On the other hand, the results of independent groups showed that there was a significant difference between academic vitality, happiness and creativity of male and female students, so that creativity (p<0.01) was higher among boys than girls and academic vitality (p<0.001) And happiness (p<0.01) was higher among girls than boys.
