Method: In this study, implementation of two-step learning and satisfaction from Kirkpatrick's model in the form of a comparative descriptive design was used for evaluating. All 30 Students (term7) from one of the top ranking nursing and midwifery school were selected as experimental group and 31 students (term7) from other nursing school with no internship program as control group. In order to evaluating the learning level of students intership skills and the response level of learners satisfactions to this training, a man- made questionnaire by considering the Kirkpatrick's evaluation model was used.Validity was confirmed by content and face validity and reliability by Cronbach's alpha as well. Data were analyzed by independent t-test, pair t- test , Two-way ANOVA test and Spss software. Results: findings showed the mean scores of technical skills and communication skills before and after training in both control and experimental groups was statistically significant (p<0.05). also , there was no significant differences between the mean change in scores of general and technical skills before and after the internship in the two groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: Internship in the field has been developed with the goal of increasing students' independence and professional confidence. Based on result, lack of sufficient effectiveness in internship program, officials are expected to consider the strengths and weaknesses of articulated Internship program and try to develop and implement an efficient program.
